Hi all,

Does anyone know the best place to buy La Liga tickets online? I am in Spain in March and could easily get to Malaga for the Barca match, trouble is getting tickets at a decent rate!!!

Many thanks if anyone can help!

G. :)

Wouldn't bother getting them online- most ticket agencies will rip you off. I would telephone the club and ask for their advice. Their website is http://www.malagacf.es and the contact details are at the bottom.

Alternatively, contact Barcelona themselves to see what they advise. They may well get an allocation of tickets. http://www.fcbarcelona.com/ is their webby

Most La Liga matches don't sell out (with an exception of Real v Barca and local derbies) so you may well be able to chance it and just turn up at the stadium and pay on the day. I have done that a few times at the Nou Camp for Barca matches but never in Malaga. Good luck!

As above really. I am planning to go over to Italy for a small trip with a mate and catch a few games in the process.
Since the attendance levels are not particularly great for smaller games (bonus) we will plan to get the tickets at the door.

Going to watch a match in Italy is fantastic but...Word of advice...a new ruling brought in this season by Italian FA. In an effort to combat hooliganism all foriegn nationals must now show (and surrender to the ticket office I think) their passports when going to football matches.

A friend of mine went to watch Milan v Juve on a package deal and got into the ground no problem, but since they were over for the weekend they caught a train to Verona the next day to watch another game (leaving their passports in the hotel) at the ticket office they were told they couldn't buy tickets without a passport and if they bought them off a tout and tried to enter the ground they risked arrest

On the plus side I went to the Stadio Olimpico in September in complete ignorance. Bought a ticket off a tout and strolled into the ground without a problem.

Might be a good idea to brush up on a few Italian phrases to help you convince the authorities though
