Best PSu for the best price

So what does everyone think is the best PSU for the money ?

On a price=performance/features basis.
 
430w Seasonic is available for £41 and it is about the most stable/high quality PSU you will get for the price although it is lacking a PCI-e connector (can use an adapter)

High quality and stable rails and also has the advantage of being modular so your case will be tidier.

I agree with this, you need to spent another £20 for 100W more.
 
Seasonic is slightly quieter, appears to be better quality (from what I have seen) and it is fairly easy to keep the cables in check. Also modular PSUs tend to have less stable rails due to the extra reistence caused by the added connection.

Lanboy/seasonic and it is pretty tidy.

Both are very good but the Seasonic would be my choice.
 
I had an Antec Truepower that popped way too easily. I know they are supposed to pop but I would hope my circuit breaker would pop in my leccy box before my PSU shorts out.

I would definitely like to try another firm for my next PSU and I will definitely be paring it with a streaming UPS.

I hear good things about Seasonic and Enermax but from memory Toms Hardware gave Enermax a bit of flack in an old review for not living upto the Wattage claims on the box.

It might be a bit more helpful if you gave a rough budget and what spec you intend to run. :)

Other than that, I recommend Seasonic too.
 
Well I was hoping to get the Pentium 805 D and clock it till it blows up :D

So I generally want a PSU that will kick out the amount of power that is claim ed on the box.
