With the F430 - is the lack of clutch an issue?

I would need a stand as the PC is in the living room.

Driving force GT...also has more lock than that F430 wheel. just lacks clutch.

also logitech sorted the complaint about the brake pedal( it now has ressistance)

if you want clutch for that price you would be looking at the fanatec carrea wheel

if you buy it let me know if it is stable or it wobbles. am looking for a stand like that just get the feeling they aren't very stable

Out of interest, what games make use of the clutch? And if they do, how "real" does it feel?

Gran Tourismo is the only one so far that makes proper use of it, though Race 07/GTR Evo etc use it when on the grid/pulling off.

So if I was using a wheel on PC with Grid, Shift and Dirt 2 I wouldnt worry about a clutch? I am thinking of christmas presents to myself.

Ive got the G25 for my PC and a G27 for my playstation both are fantastic wheels and i wouldnt even consider any other variation!

Need for Speed shift uses the clutch!

I dont think I can stretch to £200ish on a product I will only use everynow and then. Will think on it though.

its odd how the "official" wheel for GT5 (the DFGT) doesnt have clutch yet the game supports it.

does this mean that they dont want you to play with clutch in GT5?
