I have some money I want to put in a high interest account. I want to make sure it's making me as much as possible and I won't be touching it, so it will be just savings.
I'm looking at First Direct for a current account (for wages to be paid in to) and their Savings account for my yup.. savings.
Anyone have any advice on savings, I intend to invest in an ISA too - I think that would help maximise it's earning power.
Bascially, I don't know much about banking but I do know they like their small print so I just don't want to get stung by underhanded sales/marketing ploys.
I'm currently with the Woolwich who are cretins and can't wait to get out.
