best screen type option for a LCD tv, on wii setup?

in the screen options i have:

50Hz (576i)
60Hz (480i)
EDTV/HDTV (480p)

which is the best option for a samsung lcd telly, max screen res iirc is around 1368x768.

Why not? They only sell VGA cables iirc and even so you can say its name so people can search for it...

It's a VDigi VD-W2 Wii VGA cable and from trying it on various TVs and monitors it actually looks better than component. Much less colour bleed, much sharper image and no overscan so less jaggies.

a sharper image will only lead to more prominant jaggies, surely. thats the first thing i noticed with the component lead, it might well be clearer but in doing so it only shows up the jaggies more.

No overscan = denser population of pixels = fewer jaggies. Textures are noticeably sharper too compared to component on 3 different TVs (one LG and 2 samsung).

cleaner signal = sharper lines, too. if the whole image is sharper it only stands to reason that its more noticable. it certainly is on my display. i get very little overscan with component anyway
