Best Service for Creating a File Repository

Hi Guys

What is the best service for creating a file repository for people to download from. It is for high quality jpgs and pdfs mainly. The service can be paid or free. It would be useful if the service could be synced to a local server.

I think I'd probably use an AWS hosted instance of OwnCloud for this. Like your own version of Dropbox. You can create a master account that syncs to a local machine if you wish and individual accounts for others.
