    Hey all,
Trying to get my head around this and the best way to proceed. Got married last year :)o) and just recently received the wedding footage on 5x BR discs. From the wedding photographer. We received two sets - one for me and the missus and another for my in laws.

Now I'm not a fan of physical media. I skipped the whole DVD drives in my PC affair. Like most I've managed fine without the buggers over the years. My knowledge is way out of date.

    1. I'd like to back these discs up by cloning them in guess. I expected the drives to be around £40-50 by now but having looked they're still very expensive. Would anyone be experienced to tell me the best way to go about doing this?

    2. In addition I'd like to rip the movies to my hard disk. I feel safer with the raw digital files but again I haven't a clue how this would be done today.

    Cheers folks.
