Best travel bag or cases?

Just wondered what people use and find the best for a short city break maybe 4-6 days and long trips for 14-20 days.

My bag is giving up the ghost and as I travel a fair bit looking at some better options that maybe will last longer.

I've recently bought one of these for short breaks. Used it for the first time at the weekend and it was ideal; far more functional and easier to transport than the usual carry-on case and should last many years too.

I got it from Go Outdoors as they did a price match -10% so the final price was just over £65.

I've no idea about your budget, but you can't really go wrong with Tumi

I've replaced most of my Samsonite bags with Tumi and I prefer them due to their better compartmentalising but I also liked this range from Samsonite and can recommend them too.

I used the previous model of this, which for me is great for a 1-2 night stay as it will hold 2 x shirts, 1 x jeans, wash bag, socks, pants etc

Regarding the TSA locks they have on them I have read about bags getting ripped open at some airports because some airport dont have the tools?
