you have a point there. Whenever I hear the phrase UFO I picture flying saucers with little green men and Stanton Friedman and Nick Pope jumping up and down. lol

on a side note; check out the MonsterTalk podcast its really good as they intelligently disect everything from bigfoot to chubacabra they are totaly sceptical though thay arent vehemant.

usual blurred shaking camera says it all, with all the modern cameras & high tech phones around nobody seems capable of steadying the camera by resting against a tree etc. unless they're doing something with their other hand at the same time

That hypothesis is ludicrous. People with such staggering advanced technology that they can travel at least dozens of lightyears quite easily and yet they can't get genetic material from an animal without hacking it to death? That's a ridiculous mismatch.

I'm pretty convinced that extra-terrestrials exist though and have visited our planet. Every single major religious text mentions "Gods" coming down from the heavens in chariots of fire and helping man along in his knowledge.

You're citing the existence of religion as compelling evidence for alien visitation. That's not as ridiculous as your first suggestion, but it still doesn't work. People believe in powerful supernatural beings for reasons that were common to all societies, so the belief existed in all societies. The idea of those beings living above humans is obvious and therefore common. The idea that some of them would in some way interact with humanity is also obvious and therefore also common.

There are UFO accounts in all of them and all through history from as far back as man was able to write and even before in cave paintings.

No, there are religious accounts in all of them. In many of those accounts the gods change form - do you count that as compelling evidence of people who can change form, like werewolves and suchlike? The accounts you refer to involve a god making a dramatic entrance because they wanted to. If Zorg the Skylord, Sun God and King of the Gods, wants to appear to humanity in a dramatic way to make sure everyone knows who they are and pays attention, they're not going to walk in like a normal person. They're going to descend from the skies in a fiery chariot of gold, resplendent in their divine majesty.

The sumerian epic of creation is interesting as it lists all the planets in our solar system, including distances, relevant size etc but was written several thousand years before christ and before telescopes or anything of the kind. It also documents another planet that isnt there anymore called Tiamat, which was in the same location as the asteroid belt is today.

I believe the roots of religion can be attributed to a visitation from a higher civilization. I know it sounds crazy but when you read into it it makes more sense than most other twisted forms of religious explanation. Eve born of Adams rib ? That sounds like cloning to me !

It doesn't sound crazy, but it's no more reasonable than the usual explanation - that people created gods to explain things they couldn't explain any other way.
