That's an incredible price. I'd get it if I needed a PSU that beefy. A deal on the 520W on the otherhand... maybe too enticing.

You can say that, but It's seen about 7 years of use. 4-5 of them as my psu in a machine overclocked as much as I could. And it survived a chest high drop. I'll be sad to see it go if I'm honest.

The hypers are good units, however if one develops a fault they tend to take out the motherboard, CPU and sometimes the GPU.

A risk I would not want to take.

Ordered one last night after realising that my current 750w psu will probably just catch fire and take out everything else when my current upgrade comes together.

When I bought it last year I wasn't anticipating such an upgrade for a long time (if ever) and not being too clued up on PSUs thought that 750w was 750w :o. I needed a cheap replacement straight away.

Looking forward to getting this fired up!
