Looks good, however if you are playing up-to-date games it probably won't last 4-5 years without an upgrade. You are likely to want a graphics card upgrade 2 to 3 years down the line to play new games well (however I reckon the CPU will hold up a fair bit longer).

Fair enough - 3 years of high end gaming still sounds good to me!

Will I need to buy thermal paste or anything like that for the setup?

The cooler will come with some or pre applied to the copper base but its usually not very good and you can only use it once.

Best thermal grease available atm and it will last you a phew builds/upgrades. Could knock off up to 5c I believe.
