Best way to get to the Newcastle Freeman hospital

I think it would take a lot longer than 30 minutes, it's 3.2miles to the Freeman from Central. Google Maps suggests it's an hours walk compared to a 20minute bus journey.

The 38 also passes the General, yes.

There is no such thing as a return on Stagecoach buses in Newcastle - if the 2 single fares are going to cost more than £3.30, you might as well get the £3.30 day ticket. I'd ask the driver how much the single costs just in case 2 singles is cheaper than the day ticket, although I suspect it won't be given the distance. Regardless, it won't cost you any more than £3.30 to get to and from the Freeman.

Went today and had surgery , gotta say the staff were really nice and looked after me

No buses this time as I was anesthetized so had to get a lift home. No need to go back now hopefully
