Best way to make DIY home made PCBs

Hi all

I bought an electronics kit from ebay and would like to make another. But as the parts came to a 1/4 of the kit cost I wanted to know how to make easy/cheap PCBs that could be made at home. Plus I can then make other stuff from info on the net.

pcb etching kit + google

I used one for my electronics GCSE 4/5 years ago, got me an A

Not as tidy as a lasered PCB though.

Could always just use stripboard?

If you are just making really simple PCBs you can buy some etching acid, a permanent pen, and some PCB board.

I have found a kit from a national electronics store (competitor) for £62.14. Can someone have a look and see if this is a good starting place? Or is there cheaper alternatives - Cheers
