So I'm upgrading my monitor and looking to sell my old one on ebay. Looking at DPD/UPS for a courier as they offer a door to door collection service, but in DPD's fine print it says that computer monitors are a 'prohibated item'? Does this just been you can't claim insurance/damage in transit? has anyone else used DPD to ship such items or is there a better alternative...? Thanks :)

I believe DHL will cover up to 32" with insurance. If it's in original packaging and it's good packaging, then it should be fine. I'd never send a monitor would original packaging. Looking at around £30 to ship/insure a £400-500 monitor.

Edit:

Televisions or other electronic graphical display equipment with screen size exceeding 37 inches

So looks like they cover up to 37" which is good.
