best way to take currency to usa?

Sadly some people need $2000 handbags to feel like they own something special, this was the reason I got rid of my last woman, all items and no soul.

Fair enough if you are totally loaded and are driving to the airport in your Mercedes S500 but given the OP's 24, only had a credit card 4 months and has to ask OcUK where the best deal on travel spending is I rather doubt he's on a 6 figure salary.

Therefore buying $2k handbags is such a waste, you can spend that money so much more wisely, heck even if blow it on a frivilous upgrade to Premium Economy or a better hotel!

could say the same for cars, houses, computers.

my gf has finished uni and wants to treat herself with a handbag, i see it as a waste of money also, but if she wants it she can have it.

reason ive only had a credit card for 4 months is because ive never needed one and i still dont, i only got it because barclaycard sent me an offer through the post and thought why not. everything ive wanted ive either saved for or had the cash anyway.

staying in a pretty good hotel actually, the W times square.

was going to stay in the waldorf astoria but the travel agents had a mistake on the computer and we couldnt get it :(

my gf has been planning this trip for a while so we are planning on going pretty much everywere.

5 days, would you like me to list every place we plan to see with times ??

if we done manage to see every square meter of the city its no problem as we plan to go again next year mid july.

You are going to see everything you want in America in 5 days?! Sounds like that $2k might be better spent on staying more than 5 minutes :p

Anyway, at least take the card and use it up to £1k. Thats $1550ish. Your girlfriend can get one as well - so thats at least another £1k (Though its odd you got such a low limit, are you on a low income, last time I only got a £1K limit it was because I was a student).
