Hi all,

Im looking to get a wireless router for my home and it is a very big house from the 1300's the walls are thick but not traditional masonry from what i can tell. Most of the structure is wooden beams with some sort of filing in between.

So basically i need a router with a large range and good bandwidth.

Thanks in advance.

i use an ubiquiti power AP N, has very good speed and the best wireless range i have ever seen compared to the various other netgear, buffalo, d-link wifi access points and routers i have ever used.
link here: http://www.ubnt.com/powerapn

however of your property to cover is large and has lots of walls your going to need more than 1 access point to cover such an area. id suggest a few picostations 2HP's to do the job.

most places u buy this from are competitors of ocuk so you cant name them on here.
you can go to ubiquitis site i linked to in the first post and then loock for uk retailers, you will find a few of them just order from there.
thats wot i did.,
