I'm sure many of you will be shocked and distraught at this news, or you would if you even knew the launcher existed. From April you'll be able to start moving games and wallet funds across to steam.

They did indeed.
That's what surprises me about this move, I'd have thought it would go to the MS store. Perhaps Valve had a hand in their back end and as such its going there instead.
That said the Bethesda launcher was awful.
Yes - It will be blizzard next, that launcher is pretty bad too.
I would take the Battlenet launcher any day over the Xbox app.

Well, yes but I'm hoping their games will be on Steam next year, too.
I thought I had some memory of already having to migrate between launchers once for FO76 a couple of years back. Wasn't that Steam to Bethesda in the first place? Or maybe it was Epic to Bethesda...

When they released on steam they allowed anyone who already owned it to obtain a free copy on steam, that might be what you're thinking of.
