Bethesda re-releasing Quake 4

Probably the worst quake ever made

so many bugs, poor movement (gain speed by ducking on landing!?), poor performance, singleplayer was a joke also.

If it's just a re-release without any fixes or tweaks it's not going to be worth it

For anyone who never played it, I loaded the game and took some random hi-res screenshots from various levels last night. I still think the game looks good after 7 years.

I don't see the problem tbh, I think they should do this more, a lot of people miss out on early console games and seem to dismiss them due to their age, I think a re-release could help rejuvenate some of these old games that are still pretty good, I think they should definitely re-release Condemned, I know a lot of 360 gamers that missed out on that title.

But there are a lot of 360 launch titles you can pick up for a couple of quid, especially 2nd hand (which I know the publishers don’t like). If Quake 4 was rare or a limited print then everyone would understand them announcing a re-release. Or release it under the 360 Classics/Platium range.

What's the point, Quake 4 hardly set everything alight. It's just a cynical money-grab.

I know it wasnt release on it originally but doesnt Bethesda like the PS3??? Could get extra cash from releasing a PS3 port or maybe the development costs wouldnt be justified.

You're right. Game already available at a low price, rereleasing it at a higher price seems like something everyone should do.
