Betting on the football?

You could do a "both teams to score" bet. Does what it says on the tin. Most games you'll get 5/6 Yes or No, or 8/11 Yes and 1/1 No.

Gives you a bet right up til the 90th minute and the outcome of the game doesn't matter. Betfred give Set odds for the number of games - i.e 9/1 for 4 games (yes), 17/1 for 5 games, etc.

Winning is just a nice bonus.

See this is why I still don't get why people do accumulators (see above).

If you wish to 'blow' £1 a week, then why not play the National Lottery instead? At least then if it does come through, you win massive rather than just a few hundred quid in comparison. Plus if you don't win out right you get something back for getting at least 3 balls+, whereas the accumulator is all or nothing.

It's a lot more fun sticking on an accumulator than betting on the lottery though.

So what about the matches this weekend? Worth a punt in Wigan beating Arsenal at the Emirates? 14/1!

16/1 @ Victor Chandler. I read a while back that it is always worth considering a Premiership team at odds over 9/1 although obviously it depends a bit on the match in question.

Arsenal have lost at home to the likes of Newcastle and WBA this season, so it wouldn't be out of the question.

Bolton +1 looks real good on paper, means if they score first goal then Chelsea need 3 goals for you to lose your bet or 2 is refund.(basically it's +1 goal onto Bolton's goals scored.)

It's got decent odds and worth putting together with other teams.

Undinese vs Inter over 2.5 goals is a brilliant bet too.

Going to do an accumulator today....

Wolves vs Liverpool
Arsenal vs Wigan (not 100% on this either Arsenal SHOULD do it)
Everton vs Westham (not sure yet possibly West Ham)
UTD vs Birmingham
Newcastle vs Spurs
Aston Villa vs City

Might be worth putting £1 on Wigan at 14/1

West Ham are a joke atm so I'd go Everton even without Cahill.

As for Wigan, I'm just not convinced they're getting a result anywhere without Insomnia.

1 Blackpool v Sunderland (Backing The Draw @ 3.3)
2 Fulham v Stoke (Backing The Draw @ 3.16)
3 Kilmarnock v Dundee Utd (Backing The Draw @ 3.3)
4 Motherwell v Hibernian (Backing The Draw @ 3.39)

accum & trebles covered

Also layed Liverpool (i.e a draw or a Wolves win =win for me) - awful away recored - 1 win in 11 i think and despite King Kenny - things don't look much better!!!

Everton/Burton/Coventry/Notts County/Stevenage/Brighton/Wigan i've betted for a laugh this weekend £1 gives £58k.:p

As for singles this week i think Everton vs Chelsea both to score is a good bet, Villa to win and Man utd -1.25 at the current line.(-1.5 even perhaps would be best)

£1 stakes and a few on the accumulator

Arsenal to win
Stoke to win (although im contemplating changing that to a draw)

West ham to win
fulham v spurs draw
