Hi there

OcUK made some quite dramatic Asus price cuts over a week ago, today more cuts and deals have been made to make Asus one of the most price aggressive partners on the OcUK website and thus meaning it is now Asus's competitors who need to catch up with pricing, likewise for OcUK competitors who also need to play catchup.

It is all great news for the consumer, these big Asus drops should spur MSI and Gigabyte into making further price drops as well to remain competitive with Asus, the price drops effects all cards from both AMD and NVIDIA, plus some extra cheeky NVIDIA deals:

Nice to see Asus very competitive in the current climate and OcUK leading the way with the price drops. :)

KFA2 were way ahead of ASUS and still are in terms of pricing.

Their 2 year warranty seems a bit short, plus the TUF cards have had excellent coolers this generation so I know which I'd choose. Even so, KFA2 have definitely led the price drop wars.

Looking at AMD it's taken 13 months for a 6800 XT to drop below the price at which I bought mine. With the amount of gaming done in the time it was worthwhile!

@Gibbo - of the ones you posted here, I'd say the most compelling (and the only one catching my eye) is the 3060ti.

However.... You've missed out the 6800 (non XT) and I'd say their pricing there is fairly impressive (especially the strix, if you're in to it) and only beaten by the Sapphire Pulse, which is pre-order!

I'd still rather the pulse XT for the same money though :p

Incredible all these drops come into play when the next gen is only a few months off and the arse has fallen out of crypto for the most part. Just asus trying to flog what will soon enough be old inventory after pumping the consumer hard up the ring for the last couple of years.

You can tell when there is several promo posts in the space of one week stock is only going up and prices are coming down. Used prices are coming down, and used inventory is climbing as well, going to be an interesting April.

I just picked a few at random, they've hit the entire range, click the links to view all Asus cards or this link:

They are all listed there, already got Gigabyte onto me in response to these prices now also wanting to act.

All I care about right now is OcUK is leading the way and actioning price drops instantly and not delaying.

6700xt still looks way overpriced.
Yep. While I love more VRAM, £650 vs £500 for the 3060Ti is very poor value.

I keep being of the opinion that AMD have little intention of selling the 6700XT judging by the MSRP vs the 3060TI (£419 vs £369). Never mind that in the UK the only MSRP was the Nvidia FE cards.

EDIT:

Now that's the kind of competition we consumers like to see, long may it continue!

Just as i predicted Asus come crawling cap in hand for one last ditch to scavenge sales after shafting the pre orders in favour of miners. 15 months to late

Anyone considered Intel might have spooked the other two and they're all starting to clear inventory in preparation?

I would be delighted if Alchemist comes stomping out the gate next month with midrange performance and a fair price. Even if their best card competes with a 3070 or so, the previews of their upscaling tech look pretty compelling. Who cares if it can't actually run 4k at high fps if it legitimately upscales with indistinguishable differences vs native?

A year ago I picked up the 6700 XT Fighter for £449.99 thanks to OCUK doing the forum deals. The cheapest 6700 XT is now £578.99 at OCUK. Just £129 more. If other manufactures start to drop their prices it could get things back on track. :)

In normal times you'd be expecting it to now be £349.99 so only a couple of hundred to go ;) Seriously though I don't see good prices until AMD, Nvidia and Intel have all their new GPU's out later this year.
