BIG high street chain buys Smaller high street chain!

I think this move should allow the high street stores to compete better against the supermarkets, the competition has changed greatly in the past decade. The group is still running the stores as two separate companies so it should be business as usual for now, joe public probably wont notice any change.

These two stores are next door but one to eachother in the local shopping centre, I can't see both staying.

i dont like either shop and would only use if i was in a hurry for something or if it was a good price which is rare but this will make the situation even worse regarding prices i think

the internet is where it is at for me i dont think either of these is that competitve in that area

the less shops i visit the better especially the type where you are paying extra for salesman to bug you asking if they can help you instead of looking at your leisure and having it drop through your letter box

I herd about this on the 2nd. On the ONF. Everyone their seemed so fizzed off. Like I said their is every aspect of Gamestation is better than Game this is why this is such bad news.

Gamestation are ***** in my town. They try to take you for everything you've got and the shop stinks. They think they know it all as well and I'm sure the floor behind the counter is raised so they can stand over you and feel superior. A mate of mine (great great bloke, will get on with anyone) got a job in a gamestation store where he lived and they were such ***** with him he just left in the end.

Like someone said before, internet shopping all the way.
