Got an email circulated around office reminding me it's Grand national this saturday, long story short, anyone fancy any particular horse this year?

I've ear-marked 3: Simon 12-1 ,Butlers Cabin - 16-1, Point Barrow - 22-1 as looking good.

For the outsider, it's Baily Breeze at 66-1.

Not a gambler, so just interested in any hearsay on which horses are good for a flutter.

done a sweep stake at work, got 5 horsies

Mr Pointment - 16-1
D'Argent - 25-1
Philson Run - 25-1
Kelami - 40-1
Milan deux Mille 100-1

I wanted Comply or Die, looks a good bet

Going to the races is common. UNLESS in appropriate Royal Box etc. Hate seeing monkeys dressed in ill-fitting suits, drunk on Cava on the trains going to Ascot :(
yes i know this one isnt at Ascot!
I'd go for some kind of Trifecta if I were betting ;)

Comply or die looks good yeh, but i remember watching last year. Hedgehunter was favourite and Simon did amazing.

Ain't worth it, favourite for me usually finishes 2nd or 3rd, so you'd have to bet each way and at those odds you win bugger all.

It's apparently very open this year.

Go with a Trifecta like i said. quite a good way of doing it tbh.
If you don't know what that is then wiki or google it.

Trifecta, hmm, it's hard enough to predict the bloody winner, but i suppose the odds would be so huge, you could bet 5p and still get an ok payout lol.
