We need more "big man" persons in the uk and less "malc" persons.

Indeed.

Whilst he may think it's wrong now, if he was in trouble with a group of kids who wanted to steal his wallet/phone etc; I'm sure he would be grateful if someone intervened.

He was wrong to do that, assault if you ask me.

Not his job to to do it was it?

You're right, the big guy should demand compensation for doing somebody else's job.

Haha the **** deserved to get thrown off, just hope the 'big man' doesn't get arrested for assault. Probably had somewhere to be lol.

Everyones getting thrown off public transport lately.

This one deserved it too, quite funny.

Whoa there, language isn't suitable for here.

Bwahahahaha, stupid ***** probably watched the tram experience video and thought she'd have a go too, but forgot to take a child.

Same, but at least take solace that other posters have said what you probably would have typed out by now.

Doubtful, he would have no doubt gone 'against the grain' like with his earlier comments about the Murdoch situation.

I'd love to be wrong though...

This is it - people are too afraid to intervene these days, partly out of fear of prosecution and partly because you never know what the scummers are concealing on their person. If more people acted like this, then unruly chavs wouldn't stand a chance on public transport, being hugely outnumbered and maybe they'd learn to show a bit of respect and consideration towards others.

For all he knew, that kid could have kicked off and assaulted the conductor. Give the guy a medal for the pre-emptive strike.

I swear I can hear someone in the background saying "punch him" as big man is carting him off the train lol.

Nice one big guy

Well for starters i hate how people are presuming to know so much about this kid based on nothing more than about ten seconds worth of a low quality youtube clip. Yes, he could be an irritable little chav brat who fancied himself a free train ride. He could be like that because of dysfunctional parents or other factors outside of his control. He could also be somebody who'd run away from home and used all his money to get a train ticket, had a change of heart when he got there, tried to go back and now finds himself being attacked by a stranger and being trapped in a completely unknown place with nobody to turn to.

Yes, these are all somewhat unlikely extremes. But the point is that we just don't know. We can probably safely assume far more about the 'big man' than we can him, but i won't go into that...

Actually we do know, he's been identified and interviewed.

he'd been out on the ****, tried to scam a free ride and swore at an old man trying to do his job in front of children then got thrown off a train.

No, we don't. I don't think it makes too much difference however, regardless of his potential crisis he shouldn't be on the train if he can't evidence that he has paid. He didn't seem to be acting very reasonably, nor did he seem intent on trying to convince the clipper of the veracity of his ticket.

I think the body slam at the end was clearly over the top, but I don't think removing him from the train is. Technical assault it might be, but I don't think very much would have happened if it stayed at that. The kid should have just stayed off the train, the guy shouldn't have slammed him.

What can we presume about him do you think?

what you think they invented an interview?

They're not the best of papers but they do tend to avoid unnecessary libel cases/investigations.

he had somewhere to be?

probbaly his family of 6 hungry children for whom he was bringing much needed food and their dying mothers medication because their sick grandmother (paternal) who was meant to be bringing it had passed away of pneumonia earlier that day.

Sadly while he was delayed his children had been playing in the house and knocked a candle over, their sick mother was too weak to get out of bed to save them from the flames and he returned home just in time to hear the last cries of his wife and children as they perished in the blaze:(

Well why are most grown men on a train on their own? They're probably on a regular commute. If a (younger) teenager is on their own on a train then it's far more of an unusual situation, probably with abnormal circumstances surrounding it.

And yes, i realize there are extremes that apply to the 'big man' too, but it's less likely.
