Bike Ins...

I did - better safe than sorry.

Well, thing is you are either supposed to or not. When you put a claim on you cant specify if its car or bike, so if its assumed to be bike then its going to make a bif diff to the amount. Ill casually enquire i think unless someone in the business catches the thread!

Edit:

Further googling seems to suggest you have to, but it isnt wored as "you have to".

Do I need to report any car accidents on my bike policy?
It's important to disclose anything in the last 5 years relating to driving a car or a bike, as failure to disclose previous incidents or claims could invalidate your policy cover or claim.

I would ask the insurer, I am insured with elephant for my car and told them about my bike accident and they don't care, bonus :)

Not had a car accident so cant help that way around sorry.

I asked this question when I renewed my quote and the insurers said that they want to know about your entire driving history so yes you should declare the car accident. I don't think that it will effect your bike insurance premium but you could always check by using an online quote search and amending your details to show the accident once you have a quote without it.
