MCE where actually very good with me when I got knocked off a few years back. They are a bit of a gamble on your not causing an accident (due to the high excess) but that's a bet I think I can win.

It's not just the high excess. They are completely incompetent!

Does anyone have the below GPR exhaust?

They do a high mount option with this can in titanium and carbon for the VFR800, just wondering what outlet size is, want something decently throaty to let out the V4 rumble :D

It's between this and a MIVV oval at the moment, this one (standard low mount):

FFS just snapped the metal pull off my boot zip, not an issue except the zip is a ratchet so there's no undoing it without a pull of some sort fitted and the hole is too small to use a bit of string or something

Thank the lord of Amazon Prime, got a couple of puller repair things coming to the office tomorrow so I only need to keep hold of the snapped one until then.

For me it's the MIVV with the plate removed. I'm a sucker for nicely engineered stuff and the GPR looks crap with the black end cap.

Only issue with the MIVV, I'd like a high mount pipe for a) ease of removing the rear wheel and b) looks! :D

This is one on the bike, but a low mount:

Vs a low mount MIVV:

But the GPR would be in this position:

Yeah, apparently so, although they are just another broker/reseller, so you'll end up with a different insurance company to someone else with MCE.
The actual underwriter will vary all the time but the broker is who you actually deal with when it comes to actually doing anything on your policy. Underwriters don't deal with the general public.

You make a valid point sir, ergo there is only one solution:

Buy both, chop them up, and mount the MIVV on the GPR's brackets.

Job jobbed :D
