Ah nice, the Denali? Could do with a louder hooter :p

Yeah :) £23 delivered, took 5 minutes to install.

Had loads of fun on the bike today, everything went right, smooth gear changes up and down, corners were good, overtakes, filtering, was a good day.

Made me think twice about swapping bikes so soon.

it really doesn't unless you are a rubbish rider, all those mopeds and other quite bikes that get hit, oh wait no they don't.

One of the most ridiculous things I've read in this thread. For starters cyclists are getting killed all over the place in London. There's no doubt to me that my exhaust lets people know I'm there.

Putting a loud exhaust on a bike makes you suddenly forget about situational awareness, defensive riding, etc.

Everyone drives around with their music blaring so loud they can't hear you.

Everyone else on the road is 100% predictable, you can always see exactly what other road users are going to do 100% of the time.

Exactly.

Imagine going for a hoon and all you hear is a mixture of whine and wind noise... horrible. Would drive me nuts, think if it comes down to that. I'll just listen to music like I did back on my 125.

That's not far from what I hear on the VFR at the moment! :p Straight cut cam gear whine and wind noise, with a bit of a growl from the engine above 7k rpm.

Not exactly a pleasant experience, is it? You need a new can to unleash that V4 roar, ASAP. :p
Yeah that's first on the list, looking at a delkevic high level can, £145 delivered. Don't want to spend too much.

2nd thing I want is a different screen, need to really see where the stock one is putting the air but a double bubble should raise it up a bit.

Yeah, even full throttle in first doesn't get the front up :(
You're doing it wrong. :D

If a 75bhp, heavy old zr7 can wheelie in first then a street triple certainly can. You just need to be a bit more brutal with the throttle. Give it a big handful after backing off a little and it'll be round to 12 o'clock before you know it!
