So I got this 2-piece off eBay, anyone got an idea of how old it is?

Going by the colors....1994

edit: a google search does not reveal anything helpful like date codes on a label somewhere on the suit. There are however some designs similar on the Dainese website, so you could start there?

You really don't need to spend £500 to be the loudest...

I agree. On a serious note, you pay the premium on brand new cans for the name and warranty/service, But these are only for the original owner and mostly the warranty is not transferable

I'd hate to pay a lot for an exhaust then drop my bike and damage the exhaust , be gutted

For me a decent budget exhaust with lifetime warranty will be fine, no badge snobbery here :)

I'd ring Delkevic & chat them in to a deal on Brand spankers, If I got the pair for 300 quid delivered to my door I'd be happy.

I am Biased towards them though. :p

I've just been offered 10% discount via they're (delkevic) Facebook team for any exhaust for the hornet

Shame they are one day too late with their reply! Already ordered the fuel exhaust now. Saving of about £35 but only 1 year warranty vs lifetime with fuel.

Moral: There may be a chance for some discount if you ask :)

They owe me a Big discount anyway as last time they sent me 2 & I rang them took the **** & sent 1 back, Bloke said he Owes me & to mention it next time. :D

Got my sound meter today, going to compare my current exhaust (Danmoto Carbon GP) with the fuel exhaust when it arrives.

I believe the correct measuring distance is 0.5m from the exhaust at 6500 rpm? (For a 600cc 4 cylinder)
