After hiring the BMW S1000RR again my brakes feel very spongy and weak, so I bought some Brembo SC pads and will flush and replace my pond scum fluid with some good React SRF stuff.

I am told that turning black in the reservoirs on the Panigale is "normal" but this just looks shocking!

I did bleed a tiny bit out of a caliper and it only looks slightly discoloured but I want a firmer lever and this react stuff it meant to be the best.

:eek::D

Nah I'm a skinny git, trying to put some muscle on!

Need to find some thickish foam to make a smuggling block recorder holder as per the Schaaf video.

:p

Your leovince exhausts kreeeee, did you fit them yourself? Noticed the original ones are welded so not sure about attempting swapping them over myself.

Had a Bimble, Give it a clean then went over the tyre place the Long way, Got front tyre fitted & had a new tube, Why not I thought even had a right angle valve as well. Went for a fairly long run on the way home trying my best to scrub the tyre in a bit. Came back home & got the polish out & had another go at the bright work, All in all a damn good day.

Just put it inside a pair of socks. Same sound quality but doesn't take up a lot of space.

The guy in the Schaaf video puts it inside a block of foam to stop it moving about in the back pack and causing rubbing noises etc., a sock wouldn't do as good job

Yeah it'll fit perfectly inside one of my kriega R30 outside pockets, but in a sock it would move around, need something to keep in in one place and away from the outside of the pocket.

I tried it in my outside pocket on my jacket today, far too much wind noise so that won't work. And it's too big to fit in the pocket on my leathers. Plus you get the rubbing from the inside of the pocket.

I've a problem, I noticed the indicators flash too quickly, when I put hazards on they flash at normal rate. Did I plugged them in wrongly or do I still need resistors?

Yeah...

Edit: I'm debaiting whenever to get Evotech tail tidy or just an unviersal ebay tail tidy. I don't mind drilling two holes in the undertray...

If they're bulbs, they normally flash too quick if there's a bulb out, means there's not the normal resistance. Have you taken off the rear indicators and not put them back on yet?

I've stock rear indicators, I've a headlight with inbuilt indicators coming soon. Now the only two things left to order are; handlebars and tail tidy. I'll change the rear light whilst swapping out the tail tidy. :D

Yup the salt is stupid round here, if I look in front of my headlight when it's dark, I can see all the little bits, like it's raining :(

Would have thought the rain in the last few days (loads of floods round here) would have cleared it up, but it seems they've really gone for it this year.

It's amazing and warm by me - and my wife is working so I'm on solo childcare duty :( Went for a walk earlier with the kids and saw more bikes going past in 10 minutes than I have all winter.

Thats why I'm single with no kids :p I'm off out now for a ride, maybe get some food when out. :)
