Bikers Pls: GSXR1000 Vs ZX10R Vs R1

I've never ridden any so don't take anything from my post other than, the 05 R1's look unbelievable IMO :) Try and get some test rides on each?

Indeed same here.
Also, Bleugh, Suzuki.

The R1 would interest me more I think. Not that I think this thread is relevant anymore.

There ain't much that can beat the K5/6 GSXR 1000 though.

It's subjective really. I think they're the worst looking of the three, and notoriously owned by absolute morons/chavs. Present company being an exception obviously ;) :D

All three are very fast, brake excellently, handle great. The only reason to go into the fine detail would be if it's going to be a track bike.

Of course, to me the GSXR is the best looking hence why I got one :D
The 05 R1 is my favourite shape of the R1's also, my friend has one in the Santander colours.
Not really a fan of that year ZX10, it looks really dated, even more so now, the R1 and GSXR do not look 10 years old, give me the latest ZX10 though.... /droooool

Zx10r

It was first bike to achieve 1bhp per kg,180 bhp and 170kg,still looks modern today

Suzuki and Yamaha caught up on next gen

At the crank, they all produced around 160-165 at the back wheel, also dry weight, the gsxr was 166kg dry ;) and the k5/6 gsxr is now legendary for its midrange power, which is why it topped all the reviews and mags in those years :D:p

And why they've used that engine in the new GSX-S1000 naked bike. Loads of low down torque. I remember rolling on in 6th from about 40mph for an overtake and it just effortlessly surged past with plenty of poke.
