I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this but maybe someone has an answer.

I want to buy a pair of binoculars as a gift for someone who would mainly use them for nature viewing, countryside/seaside etc.

Does anyone know of a good brand/model? Preferably under 150-200£.

Thanks.

I use Bushnell trophy 10x42 binos, which cost around £189 from a well known online camera warehouse...

Pretty good for small birds, and pretty much everything up to 100yds away, very durable and pretty lightweight, they also come in a pretty decent carry case.

I find that Binos tend to be something that people like to try out before they buy, as they all fit the eyes differently, weight, feel etc..
