Just finished this great game.

Throughout, I've been saving the little sisters where possible.

Just did the final battle with Fontaine and got through that, to be met with a very, very short cut scene at the end.

Is that it???.

If so, it was a nicely done game ending but to be honest, I was expecting a little more?.

Hmmm.

I quite enjoyed the end boss, but only because it was funny..

SPOILER:

I ended up killing fontaine with the Wrench - wrench jockey, wrench freeze thing, wrench elctric shock thing and gain health/eve from wrench hits.. was quite humorous :D

I hear if you don't save the sisters there is another ending but I don't know what that is!

SPOILER:

It basically just says you're a nasty piece of work and you and your army of spliced up freaks unleash hell on the world.. from what I can remember.

Ending wasn't up to the quality of the rest of the game that's for sure, but overall was still ace.

Awesome game, and I liked the ending. I don't expect endings to be overly amazing. I'm far more fussed about the main part of the game.

Yeah just rumors as 2KGames won't confirm it, although won't deny it either.

Lots of news articles on it though, such as this one, or Google "BioShock prequel" and there'll be loads more to read about it :) But mostly they'll all say the same thing I'd suspect.

T'was way too short when i first started playing i was thinking gonna be epic like SS2 or Deus Ex 1 (not 2 coz that was poo) but it was way too short that made me a sad $qu!ff :(

Suprised people found it quite short, personally it took me ages to do it, couple of weeks to completely finish it which I found really good in terms of length. Maybe I'm just rubbish :P

i agree, for me the game is more important than the ending, the journey is far more important than the way its ends IMO

wasn't a great game was it really.

Exactly how I felt. I played the game solidly for days and loved every minute of it. Very well done apart from the ending. It just ended leaving you back with the main menu. The first time I completed it I reloaded my last saved game as I thought I'd done something wrong.

The ending story should have been longer. Maybe they could have had the credits to shots of Rature falling apart and totally empty with flash backs of what it used to be like...

Wasnt that impressed with the game frankly..... the usual find potion/key to get pass door or hole in wall etc etc

And ending was poor, theres plenty rumours about suggest a prequel to the game but dunno how thats gonna work out frankly.... if anything the film rumour sounds good but the amount of money to create the bioshock universe will cause most to run ;)

Zero punctuation summed it up well (Google his review if you haven't seen it, it's brilliant). It's not a bad game, just shallower that we expected/hoped. Made all simple so there are no negative consequnces for dying, no inventory, no thinking, no RPG element to it at all really. Was a little too 'xbox' for my liking.

On the upside it was some of the best graphics I've seen, rivals Crysis imho.
