i agree, for me the game is more important than the ending, the journey is far more important than the way its ends IMO
That's why I like MMO's

Wasnt that impressed with the game frankly..... the usual find potion/key to get pass door or hole in wall etc etc
And ending was poor, theres plenty rumours about suggest a prequel to the game but dunno how thats gonna work out frankly.... if anything the film rumour sounds good but the amount of money to create the bioshock universe will cause most to run![]()
Zero punctuation summed it up well (Google his review if you haven't seen it, it's brilliant). It's not a bad game, just shallower that we expected/hoped. Made all simple so there are no negative consequnces for dying, no inventory, no thinking, no RPG element to it at all really. Was a little too 'xbox' for my liking.
On the upside it was some of the best graphics I've seen, rivals Crysis
imho.
wasn't a great game was it really.
Reading the gamefaq's link above shows what massive thought has gone into the storyline and the overlapping NPC's. The announcements, the flashbacks, the audio tapes. Yet I bet 80% of the people who played it just thought "LOLZ at the fire. Bunrnz tehm!" *mashes buttons*
Isn't killed gatherers and harvested gatherers exactly the same?
I tried to follow the storyline (I'm a slow gamer who tends to explore everything and read all diaries etc) but the problem is that you often don't get a chance to listen to the audio tapes... you start playing one and then some splicer/robot/whatever is trying to kill you so amongst all the sound and fighting you end up missing out on half of it.
