Thats right at $54.95, way too much i think ill keep my preorder :)

Isn't that about £27? That's not too bad. I guess you can play it straight away once you've downloaded it? Pretty good deal if you ask me considering it's not out over here yet?

- No DVD
- Online manual
- No nice little case (I know, not a big deal but nice to have)
- Longer wait to play the game (Can't play until around 9pm on the 24th, game won't unlock till then)
- Did I mention it actually costs more money

:p

Even without tax it still sucked, the retail PC version is £24.99, now most online shops dispatch 2 days before release so you will get it on release date or probably earlier.

So what if you get the retail version delivered early - you still won't be able to play that until 2K's servers are up and running to authenticate the game.

Which I suspect may be the same time as the STEAM ones start letting people play as well :)

That looks handy, but I think I rather a disk :)

I'm at a Wedding in the country on Thursday, so I won't be back till Friday anyway. Can pick up a copy on the way back :)

i really am thinking of cancelling my collectors edition and just buying it off steam. Im not sure yet though, cause i like the idea of having that big daddy, and ill be saving about £8.

I most likely be getting my copy from steam...As i hate having to keep the DVD-rom in the drive all the time with normal retail copys...

And you cannot use the normal retail key of this game with steam :(

it would be nice if they added this feature in, got lots of old games also on steam. I would even be willing to pay a small fee :(

Yeh, too much. I only trust Steam for Valve games anyway. Much rather have a good old-fashioned DVD case than have to trust the Steam servers to let me log in whenever I want to play.

I woke up this morning to find that bioshock was downloaded onto my pc, now all I have to do is fire it up next Friday and im done.

Dunno why ppl find it so funny that it cost slightly more after tax

Least I dont have to worry about that scratched DVD I left out the cluttered box, and the cd key that's on the manuel that ive lost. :o

what if the internet fails while you dont have it installed, kinda like what happened in die hard 4, and you really wanna play bioshock, and you dont have the disc to install it. WHAT WILL YOU DO THEN!!!!!!

Man he'd be annoyed... I wouldn't care because I would have a physical copy and be playing it laughing... :D
