Following on from this thread http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18045968 I thought would post an update with some pics.

We went back to Birling Gap, near Eastbourne last night. These are some of my better achievements@:

All C&C gratefully received, we're going back for another go later this week...

Fantastic shots.

I've been meaning to go there for some decent shots for ages as I only live about 20-25 minutes away!

I also have been planning for months to do the walk out to the lighthouse below the cliffs. These have inspired me to sort it out :)

Great work dude!

Where do you live in Sussex by the way?

Thank you both for your positive comments!

I live in Worthing, so it's a bit of a trek, but I have the week off with MrsHJ, so we've been alternating between decorating days and days out.

They're great shots. I'm just wondering if there is more there than we're seeing - either more sky or more foreground - in each.

Well, the images are straight off the CF card, no processing whatsoever. They were taken with a Canon 30D and Tamron 17-50mm lens. The first image was taken at 50mm, the rest at 17mm. I'm tempted to stick my Sigma 10-20mm in the bag for this evening's efforts...
