Is it possible to output the screen from a desktop computer using my laptop purely as a monitor?

And an even longer shot, any chance I can use the keyboard at all? :confused:

You can use programs like Synergy to share your computers keyboard and mouse over numerous computers..

If thats what you mean.

I'm guessing that's like Teamviewer? In which case it's great for doing small tasks but gaming or anything is pointless unfortunately

I use it at work between my desktop computer and a laptop either side of monitors and it works great.

For games however, no its not the solution you're looking for.

You're looking for a way to extend your desktop onto your laptop.. in which case although I've seen the odd bit of software its all very buggy and far too laggy for what your after.
