i think features wise, this is a big step up from the shinobi.

the case has a lot of space inside it and it is used well. there is a lot of room for a very comples build with this case.

just look at the cable management space at the rear of the motherboard tray!

I think it is far too early to think about an XL version. i am sure BF will be monitoring sales of the Ronin to see if there is a demand.

The off center rad/fan holes in the roof is a nice touch
No more issues with thick 240 rads fouling mobo heatsinks.
And a lot of quality features for the price -

Spay paint that 'stealth cover' for an instant unique look.
In fact lots of potential for the modeling community
