BLACK AND WHITE MEDIA PLAYER

Hi all, ive got a problem, for some reason windows media player is playing everything in black and white. nero showtime and power dvd are fine and play in colour, its just wmp

any ideas / links to sort this simple problem out?

Does it only occur with certain file types?

E.g if you play an .avi file in PowerDVD and then WMP are they both in colour or one in black and white and one in colour?

Only thing i have found on net so far is this whcih may or may not help.

whatever file it is, wmp10 plays it in black and white, but the same file will play in colour in other programs ie powerdvd or nero showtime
