Black Friday sales

Seriously, how close together are all the clicks? How can they even tell that fast?

I tried to go for the xbox, got stuck waiting in queue for a few mins, opened another window and saw it had sold out :(

Although we don't really have 'Black Friday' here in the UK, part of me thinks that it's probably not such a bad idea.

My reason being is that we technically have our own 'Black Friday' in the way that after Xmas, the stores all do their big discounts, in much the same way and you do also see ridiculous crowds stampeding, at least in London.

I don't know if anyone caught the news at Xmas last year?
On BBC1 News I remember them showing a family who had woken up on Xmas morning, opened their presents, had a midday Xmas lunch then jumped in the car and drove from Newcastle down to London. They stayed in a hotel overnight so they could be in the boxing day ques first thing. They weren't really looking for anything in particular, just a good bargain.

At least with the American 'Black Friday' way, people are spending time with their families having got their crazy discounts beforehand.

Here in the UK, we have just reached a stage where the discounts now all come on Boxing Day, making it a huge shopping day, which is not what it is supposed to be about. Also, I get the impression there are people now who don't even buy presents until the Boxing Day sales.
