Black Pudding - yay or nay?

Personally, I love it.

If out and about, will often seek out a local butcher as each tend to have their own recipe which kind of makes it different every time.

Just soo flavoursome.

Shove it in a scotch egg.. YUM :D

Of course, serve with a breakfast is OK but kind of like serving cauliflower on the side with a sunday lunch, it deserves soo much more.

Also, is it a "Northern" thing?

Do Southeners care much for the Black Pudding?

No and yes, respectively.
The South just has a higher immigrant population, so per-head consumption will be lower... and it's also harder to find decent pudding.

Me - Black, white, love it all. I really like a slightly spicy black, with lots of barley!

I like the Bury Black pudding company ones, either in a full English or on a kebab with bacon wrapped scallops on the BBQ. I've had some pretty disgusting ones from other suppliers though.
