OT, but that P6 you posted Lashout is the sex. Looks to have the wrong wheels though.
My old man had a 3500 in the same colour as that when I was a lad. YOD850L was the plate.

Indeed, it had alloys off an SD1 on it. Quite a nice one that but I preferred my later white 3500 S with a 5 speed manual in it

You should have good fun restoring that! I've rebuilt several over the years and quite fancy doing another.

It should be interesting for sure Some of the bits for it that I'm missing are silly money now though But then again good condition Suffix A's are also fetching silly money so it's probably worth the investment Not that I can ever see it being sold tbh.

I've seem some cracking rebuilds online, which I'd love to be able to recreate. But then I'd never want to take it offroad, which would entirely defeat the point

I forgot - yea, electronic ignition's a good upgrade. Rover did it themselves so you can easily track down the parts. It was featured in the SD1 I think, contactless ignition. Whack a decent coil on it (Aldon/MSD/Bosch), job's a goodun.
