Depends on your waistsize if your slim you could pull off a waistcoat. If your slightly overweight a cummerbund or just shirt

Cummerbunds are the ****. I would go for cummerbund (partially optimal) and a wing tip collar shirt, which is essential. Also, ensure you wear a bow tie, not a normal tie, and shine your shoes excessively.

Edited for shoes...my alcohol intake exceeds regulations at this point.

So far I've went for a dress shirt with a cut 1/2 cutaway collar that has the kinda Satan stripes on it.

I'm fairly slim, 30" waste - so it sounds like I'll be able to get away without a cumberbund.
