Ive got two roller blinds in my bedroom, but now its so light so early in the morning, I tend to get woken up by the sun streaming in and it not being dark enough in here.
Short of me getting two new blinds, is there a blackout material I could stick to the blind so that it would roll up and down like the blind does already?

Or should I just get blackout blinds?

The only thing that puts me off new blinds is that one of the windows is an odd shape, not very wide yet long, and I know it was a faff to find one in the first place.

I had the same problem. My windows are waaay oer the 1.6m drop that is normal. Bought some blackout blinds and staples curtain lining to the bottom. I got this from the market fabric stall. It is blackout material. You can normally buy it by the metre.

That should do the job

So you just saw it at the market, im not trying to be funny, I just wondered if you have seen it anywhere else?

hmmm im out of ideas then, just go to a local market, i have seen some at a few, if not look in the yellow pages, curtain makers, ring round see if they have any.

Ikea Blackout Blind: £20.

Two of my housemates bought them, their rooms were near enough pitch black this year.
But do they come in odd widths/lengths?
