Well Wild Springs seems to be the chosen one for everyone so I randomly chose Starfall. I was hoping there might have been an EU-RP, not to actually RP on, but mainly due to the usual better community.

I can always start a new alt on a different server if needed depending on how things go.

What about you ?

So how do you play this game? It's open to play in EU now? Or do you have to pay to get early access?

Early access, for those who bought founders packs, starts friday 6 bells in EU.

The game goes online for everyone on the 18th, Monday. You don't have to buy the game just grab the client, make an account and install it ready for release.

Not long to go now !!! hopefully there won't be launch problems.

With the amount of guilds joining Windcrest I've gone elsewhere(Starfall), I don't want the hassle of queues like when Aion launched.

PvP arena and Dungeon's are cross-server so there shouldn't be issue's regarding that area.

1hr+ and counting !!!

If you have the 'initiate Pack' you can login without premium and take advantage of the 3 day early access but without premium you will not get login queue priority.

> Premium Benefits <

Your best bet is to try a less populated server.

Good to see others are enjoying it, the combat is definitely the games strong point as it has ton's of depth and customisation.

I have a Summoner - Marvela on Starfall so feel free to add me, currently sitting around level 19. I will start leveling my alt Assassin at some point so if anyone wants to level an alt I'll be happy to group up and blast through the early levels quickly.

I'd also point out that during the whole tme I haven't seen a single queue nor any gold spammers on Starfall and the community seems pretty decent so far.

@TONY, didn't your lack of stealth give it away earlier hahah :p

I am installing this as we speak, very excited for the combat system in this game, looks so deep and interactive! Any advise for an incoming newbie? :p

Yes, the most important thing you can possibly do is select the correct class on character creation :D !!!

Don't worry about picking the flavour of the month , they all have strenghts and weaknesses. The combat is very much skill based but ping plays a massive part although having said that with this being a proper EU release it's a non issue now.

I've played most classes upto level 20 and they are all good fun, I chose summoner as it's ranged, user friendly and people hate them! You get a pet that acts as a tank, you have some heals plenty of counters and a stealth skill that's a godsend.

Take your time leveling, gear is not as important as other MMo's, PvP is where the game excels. You don't need to worry about gear, you level your weapon like your character and armour is cosmetic.

If you have any Q's whilst playing just ask in here, I'm far from an expert but I understand the basics and glad to help out.

Shiro has a nice guide for combat mechanics for the Kung fu master, it's good for showing how it all works.. the animations are superb

there's tons of other vids for different classes

Count me in !! I ran the dungeon last night and it wasn't too hard but the weapon drop was for a Sin and we only had one in the group.. git ;p

I've updated the first post with players names and server details, If I've left anyone out just re-post your info and I'll keep it updated.

We could also start a Guild ingame for members as an easier way to keep upto date and arrange dungeon runs PvP or whatever, just need a decent name so all ideas welcome!

It wasn't a popular server in early access but with the game launched it does have queues, as for how bad I don't know.

Once the initial hype and rush has gone like with all MMo release's it will no doubt get easier to login without premium.

The game is nearly 5years old, it certainly won't win over the dedicated WoW/SWG (type) player base. It's aimed at MMo'rs who want a competitive skill based PvP game with dungeon grinding and those(?) who enjoyed Lineage I & II or Aion type gameplay for example.

What I will say is you have to get to level 30+ to actually get into the meat of the game, that's roughly when things start to click.

I still play, just started my Warlock which is an awesome class plus you get Thrall !!! i mean, who doesn't like a 20ft death dealing pet :D

A lot of people have gone to Black Desert for sure, population has lessened but it will still be the PvP choice for many.
