I made my main (BM) on windrest but the wait is ridiculous so I made another on starfall (Assassin)

sweet...Hopefully Crimson can meet up with you on Starfall :)

So is the combat in the game less spammy than it used to be.

I was playing this game back in the Korean Closed beta, and while it looked cool and combat was much more action orietnated, but by the end of beta's the beta had just become very repitive and spammy.
Cool atmosphere and the jumping>glide was cool.

The game looks and plays nice, however 678 min wait time currently to play with friends , also crashes every 10 mins with razer product software installed, And if I launch the game via Nvidia Experience Optimiser it takes me to a Chinese web site.

Other than that it looks good. :D

I have zero stability issues or crashes. The wait times have put me off windrest completely, gave me a chance to try assassin though which is pretty damn fun.

Not sure how long I will stick with it, we will have to see.

With premium ive only had to queue for about 5 mins each time ive logged in on Windrest.

Also had no crashes since release, decent fps too with the odd stutter in busy areas.

What level is everyone? Currently 10 and taking my time, although I will go do some noob bashing on Monday when they try on their PvP clothes for the first time. I'm terrible l klnow.

Lvl 10 here....spent 10 levels thinking I choose assassin, it was the class I wanted to play most, but actually now realising 10 levels later I accidentally pick blade master lmao. I had Frenzy in party with me tonight, and I was asking him howcome we are both assassins yet the icons in party where different (he had ninja star I had a sword) all this time was going in training blade master and thinking to myself why is it training me blade master. It's only just dawned on me, omg the ultimate noob day gaming from yours faithfully

Guess I'm sticking with blade master now lol, its pretty bad ass. I'm really enjoying it, 120fps pretty much everywhere apart from bosses and loads of characters on screen. Not one crash yet either touch wood. Going full criteria glass canon build lol

Good to see others are enjoying it, the combat is definitely the games strong point as it has ton's of depth and customisation.

I have a Summoner - Marvela on Starfall so feel free to add me, currently sitting around level 19. I will start leveling my alt Assassin at some point so if anyone wants to level an alt I'll be happy to group up and blast through the early levels quickly.

I'd also point out that during the whole tme I haven't seen a single queue nor any gold spammers on Starfall and the community seems pretty decent so far.

@TONY, didn't your lack of stealth give it away earlier hahah :p

you know what mate, yes it did, honestly I spent the last 5-10 hours thinking to myself, *hmm this doesnt feel right, stealth abilities must be unlocked later* Honestly I've spent all day questioning it but never putting an ounce of thought into checking my class, I was so sure I had picked assassin lmao.

I'd love to start an alt assassin with you eek. Will add you for sure. DOH!!!!

I am installing this as we speak, very excited for the combat system in this game, looks so deep and interactive! Any advise for an incoming newbie? :p

Yes, the most important thing you can possibly do is select the correct class on character creation :D !!!

Don't worry about picking the flavour of the month , they all have strenghts and weaknesses. The combat is very much skill based but ping plays a massive part although having said that with this being a proper EU release it's a non issue now.

I've played most classes upto level 20 and they are all good fun, I chose summoner as it's ranged, user friendly and people hate them! You get a pet that acts as a tank, you have some heals plenty of counters and a stealth skill that's a godsend.

Take your time leveling, gear is not as important as other MMo's, PvP is where the game excels. You don't need to worry about gear, you level your weapon like your character and armour is cosmetic.

If you have any Q's whilst playing just ask in here, I'm far from an expert but I understand the basics and glad to help out.

Shiro has a nice guide for combat mechanics for the Kung fu master, it's good for showing how it all works.. the animations are superb

there's tons of other vids for different classes

Just a few tips, keep your training weapon and use it for dedicated PvP, stats are standardised so it matters not what you use but your weapons still get damaged so the basic training weapon is cheaper to repair.

DO NOT throw away your Hongmoon weapon you get very early on, this will be your main pretty much all the way through, just keep levelling it up and it can be your end game weapon.

I've improved my Hongmon sword up to lvl 10 now, gone all crits on my shield and I'm absolutely murdering enemies, the game isnt all that challenging which is weird. I'm only at lvl 11 now as well, really hope it gets harder. Blade Master is feeling very OP at the moment.

I'll say this though, although I'm liking it so far, I can see this getting boring quick, there just isn't enough to do. Where's all the gathering, mining, crafting, exploration secrets etc? the game feels quite bare to me. it's not a patch on Gw2/black desert online in that respect.

Added you as friend eekfek
