Blizzard confirms 'Titan' as their new MMO

Its going to star the guy from Napoleon Dynamite and Sheldon Cooper from Big Bang Theory as a couple of adventurers trying to recover the lost epic sword of Bamboozle, along the way though they bump into Adam Sandler who cracks your mom jokes for the remainder of the movie and shouts at them for being noobs. Partway along the way there is a cameo by Chuck Norris and the film ends suddenly after 94mins when Nape and Sheld find out that their gearscore isnt high enough to get them into the Sword of Bamboozles lair

It's going to be a new IP Blizzard have said all along it will be something new.

Given how popular facebook games are I could see it being something like that. Hope it's not.

Heard whispers about it being a Sci-Fi shooter mmo type thing.
 
IP, as Redman mentioned, stands for Intellectual Property.

I usually look at it like this; if the game you're making requires trademarks/copyrights etc, it's more expensive, whenever making a new IP you will have to acquire ALL these from scratch. If you expand upon an already owned IP it's a much cheaper process.

Just another one of the hurdles that new games/companies have to face whilst entering the games market.

And why we see games being released that vary so far from the original idea yet maintain the name..
 
they've got the money, talent and time to make something special. Can see them headed in a totally different direction to wow.

A scifi shooter/rpg mmo in a blizz created universe could be something very special indeed!
