In fact, TSH (Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone) is the most related. Thyroid gland is in the neck, lateral to the oesphagus. There could be some links in there, as TSH and thyroid activity levels can cause a multitude of problems. "Throat / chest problems" could mean anything though. :)
