Bloody Brilliant - Working Bank Holiday Monday...

Found out today that I am working Monday 1st May and as far as I know, I'm still geting normal time (would have expected double time) and to make things worse..... I'm on a 1-10pm shift.

Anyone else working on Monday?

Not working on Monday, but have to go in tommorow because a bit of equipment at work decided to fail today at lunchtime :/ I wnated to go on a shopping spree tommorow too! 1-10pm shift...ouch :/

Same here - although on the last bank hol all we did was play poker and play on the PS2

I work every bank holiday I used to just say "yeah i'll do bank holiday no problem", but now its become "yes Simon you are working bank holiday" like i have no choice. oh well time and a half for me

Also wtf at people getting triple pay is that like normal for most people?

Customers (humans) are disgusting epecially in Retail, Tis the real comment I can say atm and I feel there pain for the people that gotta wake up early Monday.... and drive/travel to work while all the cars are still parked and everyones fast asleep and theres no cars on the road....

I love being self employed, all my business clients are closed on monday and my residential clients are on the beach!
