If it's a car in good condition in the first place, it's worth keeping that way regardless of make or model.
Unlucky, but could have been much worse. Seen roof slates leave massive gouges in the metalwork of a car before now, not a nice thing to discover!
It's not the point really. Some people have some pride. Be it a Yaris or a F40.
