Please help me, I had my computer running fine with a 'special' version of windows on my 250gig barracuda, but my new hard drives arrived today along with windows 7 pro (upgrade edition)
Obviously 'upgrade edition' requires a previous o.s to be installed, so I installed it without activating (for the 30 day mode), and then upgraded from non-activated windows 7 pro, to activated windows 7 pro.
All the while my single drive was in raid mode so that I could install my ssd for smart response after the initial restart.
So after I had installed windows, I installed all of my motherboard drivers from disk, and then proceeded to run windows update (failed 33 of 94 updates) then on restart it bluescreened.
I went back to the original restore point, and did it again and it failed 13 of 94 and BSOD's, and the third time it failed all of them etc etc.
I then decided to finish setting up smart response before downloading updates, and sure enough it worked fine.
But then after I used windows update and restanted, I got blue screen AGAIN!
What do I do?
