So I'm thinking of going wireless in the office and looking for some Bluetooth headphones. Mostly listening to metal/ rock music, currently using Koss Portapro so something similar would be nice.

Budget up to £50. Thanks

Sony MDR ZX330BT, possibly look like the best bet.

There's not really much choice in the way of good Bluetooth headphones at this budget. Good wireless headphones in general cost more than the equivalent wired, because of all the extra gubbins needed that wired ones don't.

Example is AKG Y50, which is £50 for the wired version, whereas the Bluetooth version is £125.

I bought a pair of Philips SHB9100 from Amazon about 4 years ago and have been using them ever since. I use them while commuting or sometimes to listen to music at my desk.

For £50 they have been everything I could want in terms of build quality, durability (the top layer on the ear covers has peeled but what is underneath is fine), and usability.

It can always be argued that bluetooth speakers at £50 won't be the last word in sound quality, and mine aren't either. But I don't want the last word in sound quality while listening on my commute or at my desk, I just want something portable that will last.

I'm not expecting top sound from them, after all they'll be used in office.

Thanks I'll have a look at these.
